Theres a 40 off 300 coupon located at a certain (tech)nology bargains website. Coupled with the 15% off at dell home...I just bought a sony E540 monitor for $400 shipped!!!!! Today only...

-->>It doesn't appear to be working with an Axim. If anyone has used it with an Axim please post how you did it.

Nevermind, it appears to be working now. It took several attempts before it applied the coupon. $92.35 off the 400mhz Axim is nice. There have been better deals, but this is pretty good.

AU Tiger,
I am having problems getting the code to take also (for the Axim 400mhz). Do you remember what exactly you did to get it to take?

After I enter the code, the coupon shows up in my shopping cart but the discount is not reflected in my price total. I have removed it and tried re-entering many times with no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if it will work for you, but I emptied my cart, added a Palm Tungsten T to see if it worked on PDAs in general. The $40 was applied. I then removed the Palm, and added the Axim. The $40 still applied.

I just added the Tungsten and the $40 showed up. But when I removed the Tungsten, the $40 was removed as well.

I'll keep trying and see if I have any luck. If I get it to work, I'll post the results (for any potential Axim buyers out there).

Thank you so much for the quick response.

Also check your cart. I noticed that when I was having the trouble the coupon in my cart said 10% off even though 15% was being taken off. Now that it is working, I am seeing a Dell Home and EPP Customers: Save 15% off Handhelds! coupon instead of the 10% coupon.

I figured out what the problem is. It has to do with what link you use to get to the Axim page. The problem occurs if you go to the Axim page by selecting any of the links which show the picture of the Axim. These will give you problems with the $40 code as well as show up with the 10% discount being displayed instead of the 15%.

What you need to do instead is go to your shopping cart, then follow the handhelds link at the bottom of the shopping cart where it says "Continue SHopping". Then on the page it takes you to, in the right column you will see "Browse For Products". Select "Pocket PC Handhelds" (DO NOT select the Axim link with the picture of the Axim!!!) and then access the Axim page from there. When it is added to your shopping cart the $40 discount should show up if you use the valid code and the 15% discount will be shown properly as well.

I figured all this out through trial and error, with much help from AU Tiger. Thanks again. This was a great deal!

I got the NEC 1560NX LCD Monitor using $40 off $300. I chose it over the (somewhat) less expensive 1560V becuase it has DVI. Only then did I notice that the 1560V has higher contrast and a lower response time than the 15060NX. Does anyone have any experience with either or both of the monitors?

That's pretty odd, but the NEC site reports that the 1560NX has lower contrast (350:1) but quicker response, and the 1560V has higher contrast and slower response.
I know the 1760V and 1760NX are reportedly identical except for height adjustment and DVI interface though.

(Myself, I ordered the 1760NX for $386, out of stock so I have a few weeks to check it out in stores)
