40 C6 pics...super mega high res

these are so nice
i had to look twice
damn that rhyming thread
its got this stuff all up in my head

gaaaahhhhhh (really)

headlights look like a cross between
a 575 and viper, oh how mean
the hood i must say
looks quite like a nsx of tommorow not today

ii love the rear and the hatch and the more agressive side vent and edges of the wheel wells.
But the front is a big no no, the lines on the hood are over done imho and the shape of the headlights doesnt really work with the nose. You can see from the skeatches that the middle lines of the hood were suppsoed to be only accents to point the hood, not rise it. Also the opening of the nose is more smiley-fied than intended, it doesnt have the aggressive look that the designer intended due to the height of the vehicle (the design sketches have the car lot wider than the production)

The current one looks better. This looks like they took the C5 and made it gimmickier. The lines don't match. The side vents are too angular, the body and the canopy don't meld well. Looks like a kit car. Looks very nice from some angles.. But the C5 looks good from every angle.

The C5 looks good from all angles except the most important. The inside. The inside of the C6 is MASSIVELY cleran versus the C5. The C5 interior is, to be blunt, a horrible jumbled mess. The C6 is clean, smooth and conservative. VERY well done. And the outside styling looks like a beefier more muscular C5.
C5 = Reminds me of a panther (sleek, low slung)
C6 = Reminds me of a pit bull (muscular, bunched up)

A Corvette with DVD navigation system, that's just wrong 😉, but then most Corvette buyers choose auto trans 🙁

3/4's of these pics look skewed when I set as wallpaper. What the hell res do I need to run for them to look right?

Save as> right click> set as desktop background> right click desktop> desktop tab> set it to center in the dropdown

Get the powertoy image resizer, resize to the resolution you need. Or use PS

Couple things going on here:

1) These pictures are not shaped like your monitor. Note the resolution, they're 3:2 - 35mm film aspect ratio, whereas your monitor is 4:3. You'll need to edit the pics to make them 4:3.

2) Resize them once you have them 4:3.
