Actually, this is a faked photo. It's a period photo, but fake. It was a combination of two photos. One of tesla sitting with everything off, and one with him not there and everything on.

Gizmodo also claims Teddy Roosevelt didn't ride a moose. While that particular picture might be a composite image, there is no historical evidence that Teddy, in fact, did not ride a moose. We all know he possessed the manliness requiring to tame large beasts; that is historical record.

Ugh, that site is annoying the way it labels some photos "FAKE" when its not the photo that is fake, it's just the headline or story attached to it that is made up....

Alternate historical pics??? ALternate to what??

I was thinking we would have pics of what it would look like if Germany won WWII or if Russia nuked the US....

These are just historical pics....nothing alternate about them.
 
The nurse claimed that she didn't know the sailor and didn't enjoy the kiss.
The Golden Gate bridge is always being painted when they get to the end they go back to the beginning and start over.

Just that they tell the "side stories" and not the main stories. But it might be a misuse of word, due to my non-native English skills.
