Umm not really sure what to say..

Maybe it's time we realized this country is going through aversion and an inversion of both morals and common sense!

Both seem to be short supply and it seems it keeps getting shorter!

"Runions pressed the barrel of the gun against the child’s chest and pulled the trigger, police said she told them."

And then I kept reading and it somehow kept getting worse.

I am always reminded of the legendary Bill Hicks routine:

Lets look at the big picture... Say the newly gun educated 4 year old actually took her loaded gun out into the streets?
MOMMY DEAREST, I THINK I JUST SHOT THE MAILMAN. AND THE GARDNER. AND A NEIGHBOR WALKING HER DOG. AND A POLICEMAN. MOMMY, I MAY I HAVE MORE BULLETS, PLEASE?

Clearly more guns make us safer, and we should just issue them to anyone who wants one.

No questions asked. Viva 1A

Yeah think it's dishonest to say she was teaching her gun safety. She sounds like an abusive person. She just smacked the kid with a sandal for not waking her up and eating food without asking. Then stuck the gun into the kids chest. Gun safety my ass. This was abuse of a child.

See 2 important gun safety lessons were learned.

  1. A magazine fed pistol may still have a live round in the chamber even after the magazine has been removed
  2. Always treat a gun as loaded and never point it at someone or something you don’t want dead.
The good news is this can never happen to “REAL” gun owners. Not “REAL” gun owners deserve bad things to happen so no problems here.

I find it strange no one is demonstrating sympathy for the poor child. I feel for the parents as kids this age are truly innocent. And how bad a mother do you have to be, or how bad a foster system must you have, so that your child is taken from you and put into a house like this?

Why even point the gun at the child? What would it teach the child to see a gun against it chest? the stupidity. The only gun safety you teach a four-year old, is "never touch a gun, run and tell an adult if you see one". Wow, just wow. Some people are simply too stupid to be in society.

Thoughts and prayers saved how many kids exactly?

Charged with first degree....
Something tells me they know she wanted the child dead. This was certainly no accident.
Precisely. She was punishing them both just before it happened; not even "for being kids", simply eating food because they were hungry. Even if it was an accident (questionable, if not doubtful), Runions was being intentionally wicked, cruel, and vindictive with her actions.

I think it'd be safe to say that even if she hadn't intended to shoot the child, she was obviously imagining/visualizing it if she was being so careless with the firearm; pointing it at the child much less holding it against her chest.

She deserves no less than life in prison, IMO.

Sidenote on an unrelated curiosity: what's with these southern redneck cvnts having four names; the last two being un-hyphenated, unmarried "last names"? Devall as a middle name?? Fucking inbreds.

Sympathy for the parents? Sure.

It's a bit late for the child, FWIW. She's dead, there's no having sympathy for her now.

What good is it expending energy after the fact? How about targeting that against Republicans who continue to allow and promote unfettered gun access. The former just continues the cycle of idiocy.

Remember when the teacher was shit by the student? I felt sympathy for her because she was not involved in the irresponsible gun ownership.
