Now I'm craving every single food I can't have. I just went shopping yesterday and got 10 ears of white sweet corn for $3, some steak, and ceaser salad makings... I can't have any of it. My girlfriend has made me two milkshakes and 1 fruit smoothie and has been waiting on me hand and foot. It always sucks that you want what you can't have.

My mouth is still bleeding =(

I just felt like doing some whining. Did those of you who had their wisdom teeth out actually follow the doctors orders?

Milkshakes won't cut it for long, I tried pureed soup but that didn't do it either. I broke down and got a cheeseburger and chili the next day. Just pray you don't have any pain and the bleeding stops so you can get back to solid food quick.

Well I'm still on percocet, and I top that off with Ibuprofen. When those meds are active I have no pain, but as soon as they wear off it really starts to hurt. I guess they really had to dig one of them out so I guess it may be hurting for awhile. My oral surgeon is great. She called from home and left a message to make sure everything was ok. She gave me her home number to call if I had any questions or concerns... which I guess she does for all her patients.

HamburgerBoy: watching movies and drinking milkshakes is great, but when you have a craving you have a craving.

ya dude, i got my 4 out about a month ago. the only thing that bothered me was that i couldnt eat food. i couldnt take it....so i ate chicken the first day at my friends house. anyways, they couldnt get me to go to sleep cuz im a big guy i guess, and they gave me lorcet instead of vicoden, and i didnt even have any pain...at all.....but i still took the lorcet

to answer ur question, i followed his orders basically. my bleeding stopped after my second round of gauze. it only bled for like 30 mins or less. i noticed that i drooled blood in my sleep slightly for the first two nights, but only enough to be noticeable on my damn pillow. anyways, foodwise, i was eating fairly solid foods on the 2nd day, and fully solid foods on the 4th. with the exception of the chicken on day 1, i ate liquid stuff
