Those results don't make sense to me- not enough improvement with Quad.

16X12 4X16X is a pretty poor test for quad though, so maybe the settings are just too low to show the benefit.

With my 7950GX2 Quad you had to get to 19X12 8X16X before you really started seeing big benefits.

if you're only running at 16x12 then quad crossfire is stupid in any game except conceivably crysis. 19x12 is a bare minimum, and it really needs to be 25x16 to make it something to even consider.

IMO quad Xfire and tri-SLI are just a gimmick to sell more cards. On another note that setup looks dangerous. Those cards with the none reference coolers look to close. I could see a short happening if one touches the backside of the next card. Besides the fact that the airflow is very restricted and in that set up only 1 card is exhausting air out of the case.
