Question 4 Sticks of memory won’t work

I have two sticks of this memory, been working fine.

I picked up two more sticks from amazon, same memory but red heat spreader so I can tell the pairs apart.

I cannot get my machine to boot with 4 sticks. Continual power cycling. I let it cycle about 3-6 times multiple tries.
Either set of memory work in a1 & a2 slots, will not work when all 4 slots are populated. I’ve tried both sets in both slots.
I adjusted memory speed to 2400 and 1866(?) still no luck.
Any suggestions getting close to my return window so I need to solve this ASAP.
I don’t need 64GB of memory I just think it would be cool. I do run my machine as a game server occasionally so extra memory would be great. Also the amazon price was very good, I hate to return it but I don’t want to mess with this too much.
Should I increase my voltage? If so how much is safe?

**ryzen dram calculator appears to say 4 sticks 1.35v should work**

3800x CPU

@VirtualLarry @Markfw any suggestions?

What does CPU-Z under the SPD tab list for mfg and serial / version, etc. Are they the same, or different? Is the SPD for the fastest speed, same or different? (Screenshots would be nice.) Just plug in one pair, that's stable, take screenshots, then shut down, plug in other pair, take screenshots, and post them here.

Chances are, if both kits don't work together, there's some difference afoot.

I bought my two kits (same retail item/SKU) on Newegg, of GSKill DDR4-3600 Trident RGB "for AMD", and mine do work together, with my Ryzen R5 3600 and Asus B450-F ROG STRIX board, @3600 (DOCP setting). Maybe I'm lucky, or possibly, because these have looser timings to start with.

Note that 2x DIMM kits, may have different sub-timings than 4x DIMM kits. I forget which sub-timings need to be adjusted, but if someone can chime in, that may be your issue with stable booting.

Does your system boot, at JEDEC settings (default, 2133 / 1.2V), with all four DIMMs populated from both kits? If not, you may have some defective DIMMs, or other wierdness (Bad slot/channel).

Yeah I am starting to think something is wrong as in they are different kits.
I screwed around with them more today. No speed will work with all 4 in any position, either set will work alone at multiple speeds.
Even if I get it working I know I’ll have a problem with them later down the road.
