4 speaker up-mix to 5.1 DD 5.1 with Sb Live Platinum

I know with the Sb Live Platinum, it can output 4 speaker output through the SP/DIF and DD 5.1.

My question is: the 4 spekaer output is only compatible with 4.1 sound systems, I have DD 5.1 with my DigiTheatre, therefore, I only mangage to get two speaker stereo in EAX games.

Is there are program that will up-mix the EAX output designed for 4.1 Systems to 5.1 systems.

5.1 ----- 4.1
Left - Left
Right - Right
Center - None
Right L - Right L
Right R - Right R
LFE - Bass from all four channels.

Does anyone know what I am talking about, I am sure that a program can be made to do this?

If I go with analogue, I will have to use a switchbox somewhere

I am at the same point (got my speakers yesterday)
As far I know now set sblive to surround and your 5.1 to pro logic thats the best you can get!
I am on analogue but I will use the digital port later!
sblive cant deliver the 640kb/s 5.1 signal!
bah!

Your back speakers will be mono!
