4 Single Sided DIMMs on K8N Neo2

I have a K8N Neo2 with a Toledo core X2 3800. Currently, there are two single sided 512MB DIMMs at 3-3-3 1T.

Will I be able to add two more single sided DIMMs and keep the same timings, or will 2T command rate be needed?

As their single sided u may be ok with 1T. Either way the extra badwidth will offset any drop in latency from going 1T 2 2T.

luck😀

But has anyone tried it on this particular motherboard? I have seen reports that this is also depends on the BIOS.

The only way to be sure is to try it out.
I also "worried" about it when assembling my PC, but then was able to get 2x 1Gb sticks - so I never actually tried it out with 4 Dimms.

Nope does not work 🙁

I have 2x Micron plus 2x Elpida single sided 512MB sticks. The machine will POST, but will freeze when it finishes the memory test at 1T. It works fine at 2T.

Anyone else have similar experience or with other motherboard?

Upon further testing, it would not even pass memtest at DDR400 speed. I had to back off to DDR333. Test 5 always fails at 0.4 to 0.5 MB.

Not sure if I want the memory speed decrease for the increased capacity.
