I got it to work. Here is how.

Add the carving set by itself into your cart.
Add the steak knife into the cart that already has the carving set.
Change each to quantity of 2.
Go to checkout and add the code.
Discounts should apply and the total is around $24.

The deal is scorching hot if they don't cancel it.

Read my post above. You also need to change the shipping to the super free saver that takes 5-9 days. The total comes out to $24 and change. I already got my email from amazon stating that the order was placed. Now lets hope they don't cancel all the orders.

I got this to work folling these instructions!!! I received a message saying the promo code was not for this deal but when I hit continue the $15.00 was taken out!!! WAAA HOOO! Thanks optoman and puterman.:beer:

I don't know about other people, but I couldn't get optoman's instructions to work. Then I tried using an email account that hadn't purchased from amazon.com before, and it worked. Not sure if it was a fluck, but one address couldn't get the $15 off, while the other just made the order. Good luck everyone, cause this is a sweet deal where you get paid (in gift certs) with no rebates necessary.

It seems like amazons cookie might be screwing up the orders. You need to log off totally from amazons website. Clear the shopping cart before you do this and where it asks if you are Mr. YOURNAME on the top of the main page, say you are not. Then try and add all the stuff into the cart.

BTW: I think these will likely get cancelled since this is now #1 and #2 on amazon for sales:

It's Henckels "International" line, which means it's not made in Krautland, prolly China. Still, I bit on the deal. I think I have 4 knife sets already, but one cannot possibly have too many knives.

Also, how do you know you get a $40 GC? I didn't see anything about that. Do they include a paper GC in your shipped product or is it an e-GC?

I did not have to do either. The offer was at the bottom of the page you linked to for $19.99 delivered. When I got greedy and tried to use the promo code, it said I was not eligible. Either way thank you very much. The steak knives and carving set will be a great gift for my sister as a house warming gift. She will think I broke the bank on her.
