4 ram modules and dual channel

will i still have dual channel if i have 4 sticks of 256mb ram? i currently have two sticks of 256mb ram and i want to upgrade to a 1gig of ram by adding two more sticks of 256mb ram but don't want to lose dual channel. i have an nforce2 motherboard. i have a ga-7n400-l motherboard. here is the link to the mobo website http://tw.giga-byte.com/MotherBoard/Products/Products_GA-7N400-L.htm

Ha! I can help you with this....(my 1st post!)

I too own a GA7N400L. Dual channel will still operate IF Dimm 3 & 4 are Identical.

I don't believe they have to be a "matched set", just the same manufacturer, Mb & speed.

Just for interest sake, I changed the CPU from "Optimal" to "Agressive" in the BIOS and noticed an increase in memory speed using AIDA32.
