Hey People,

I don't play online, I have my friends round and we play Split Screen, I'm struggling to find games because for some stupid reasons games aren't 4 player split screen any more (Halo Anniversary!) So I'm looking for suggestions. Here's what I know about so far:

CoD Series.
Sports games like FIFA (Not interested)
Blur (Quite Good)
Halo Series
The Club (Poor)
Perfect Dark Zero
Goldeneye Reloaded

Suggestions?

Not a huge fan of Blur myself. I got it specifically because of 4-player split screen but it just isn't much fun. I was expecting a game sort of like Mario Kart without the cartoony graphics, but the weapons you get just aren't satisfying to use and don't seem to do much.

I'm pretty sure the Halo series is the only one with split screen AND online multiplayer at the same time, but it sounds like you're not interested in online multiplayer. Call of Duty games allow four players but only locally, no online or even LAN (system link).

Castle Crashers will probably get recommended a lot, arcade-style beat em up with fun hand-drawn graphics and up to four players. Gets repetitive after a while but it is still worth getting for $15.

There's also a free game I found recently called Harm's Way. It's a vehicular combat game where you have teams with one driver and a gunner. The driver just tries to go around the track and picks up items but the gunner gets to move between several turrets at various points along the track and shoot the other drivers. It's pretty fun, not a whole lot there but it's good for a free game and it supports four players.

The new Gears is 4 player, so it might have 4 player split screen.

OK brilliant I'll get that.

Edit: No it's not.

I really like it, once you get into it it becomes very competitive.
