4 pin to 3 pin help

Hey guys,

I have a new fan controller, and all of the fans in my Antec 900 case use 4-pin molex connectors for power, and I'd like them all to be hooked up to my fan controller. I can find plenty of adapters that go from the 3 pin to 4 pin, but I cannot seem to find those that will go from 4 pin molex to 3-pin, which I need to connect to the fan controller.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Thanks!

The newegg one is just like others I saw, it has 4-pin molex to 3-pin male, when I need 3-pin female. The others look good! The AVADirect one has both male and female so I can't go wrong there!

Thanks once again!

Thanks for the help guys, the one thing I'm running into is that I'd like to find somewhere where I might be able to get a bit cheaper shipping. Petra's had the best prices on these but they are sold out, so far Xoxide is the cheapest, but shipping is still almost is almost as much as the cables themselves are.

FrozenCPU's is pretty good at $4 for small orders. Maybe you could find some other things you've been meaning to pick up to make the shipping less of a waste?

Those antec cases perplex me for the obvious reason of why not just have all those ludicrous fans connected to a fan controller in the first place. My friend has one and with all the fan running at 12V its a little annoying.

Cmon Antec be better 😛

I recently got a http://www.amazon.com/Scythe-Kaze-3-...7498344&sr=8-6 because my new uATX board only had 2 fan posts and it works great.

no problem. I usually pick up random parts like that and molex connectors when I'm making an order somewhere else, but free shipping? Anytime.

I don't know the 900, but being an Antec case, I take it the fans are not exactly the best ones. Why not changing the fans for some good 3-pin ones?

The first thing I do when I get a new case is buy scythe S-FLEX SFDB type fans for it. Expensive, but quiet, powerful, and an MTBF of 150,000 hours (and they last twice that long, Ive had some since they were new almost 10 years ago)
