4 NEW DELL DISPLAYS

I bet they'll all be overpriced to begin with. I'm also disappointed to see no mention of HDCP support for the new 20" widescreen...that would be the only reason I'd consider an upgrade (really a side-grade) from my 2005FPW. That site mentions that the 2407WFP (why did they change the order of the letters?😕[/i]) will have HDCP, but that's probably going to cost way more money than I'd be willing (or even able) to spend...

Depending on quality and pricing, the 27" could just be my next monitor. Now, the DPI is lower than the 24" and it's the same resolution as the 24" widescreen LCD's but with the size of the sucker, it'd still make a nice monitor. After all, your 27" monitor is sure to bet set further away than a 24" so the lower DPI may not matter at all for common things such as gaming and general computer usage. Whether it's a good monitor or not is going to depend mainly on color reproduction and refresh rate. As such, the jury is still out until we can get some reviews on it.

I think the 0.3 mm pixel pitch will be very good for a larger display, espeically since you need it a little farther away. I really hope its less than $1000, but I doubt it will be.
