I have an ASUS A8N-SLI with two 6600s. They are running Windows XP Pro and have all the latest drivers and software updates installed. The problem is that I can't get 4 monitors to work. The system is NOT setup as a SLI machine, just two seperate video cards. I can get two monitors to work on one card, but only VGA and TV out. I have also tried using two 6800GS to see if that would work, but it does not. Is this problem just me or is it a limitation of the nVidia nForce4 SLI chipset w/ 6x00 video cards?

Did you try running both cards one at a time and seeing if you could run two monitors off one card? Just to make sure all the hardware is OK.

Also, make SURE that the drivers aren't in SLI mode (and maybe try reinstalling them?). The motherboard SHOULD be (so you have 8 lanes for each card), but the drivers should NOT be.

You should be able to do this. There is no 'limitation' with using two video cards independently.

I got it to work. I had to place one card in at a time, then enable dual view. Added the second card and enable one monitor at a time. What a pain in the ass.
