#4 coffee filter: Grind coffee at the #4 setting at Starbucks?

i have a cheap coffee maker. it uses #4 filters. the instructions doesnt say what to grind it for.

Is #4 what i have the coffee ground at in Starbucks?

(At starbucks, 5 is paper filter, 7 is flat bottom, 9 is espresso. The higher the #, the more course the coffee is grounded. ie: #4 would be grounded finer.)

drip = coarse ground
#4 = filter size
starbucks i dunno wtf they are doing, mabye its like their naming scheme for cup size, they fiddled with it. standard drip grounds are all you need unless you are using expresso machine.

You want a drip (or auto drip coarse). Your scale seems backwards too...an espresso grind in a very fine grind.
