Is the video card fully seated? Double check that and try booting again.

BTW, what's the rest of your system look like (i.e. configuration)?

Anything in your manual about the error code?
I believe it has an Award bios and if it's not a single long and two short beeps (video error) then any other beep codes are usually ram related.

Recheck every wire/cable/jumper and MB mounting for shorts.
Try removing any extra cards except a PCI video card and reseat it.
Reseat the CPU
Put your 1 best stick of ram in the first slot.(reseat also)
Clear CMOS if the above haven't helped.

What plug did you try plugging the fan into????

Trying switching the heat sink fan connector to the next one. If you have it plugged into the wrong one, the bios thinks there is no fan connected and will not allow the puter to start up and frying a CPU.

yep happened to me, Read the mobo you probably put the fan in to FAN2 instead of FAN1. What a POS.
