4 512 Sticks in NF4 Ultra = DDR333?

So is it about the 512 stick being double or single sided that makes the difference? If so, can you get 4 single sided 512s and avoid this problem?
Or is it 2 1G or nothing?

I believe primarily it's the Memory controller on the A64, as I've seen people having all kinds of problems with 4 x 512MB on different Manufacturers MB (ASUS, DFI, MSI, etc.). I'm not sure if single/double sided makes a difference.

Even dropping Memory Divider and Memory timings haven't solved the problems for some.

I know if/when I decide to go to 2GB, I'm just going to get 2 x 1GB and avoid all the headaches 😉

As I understand it, if you have a Venice, San Diego, Manchester or Toldeo core cpu, then you can run 4 sticks of Ram @ DDR400 @ 2T

Winchester core and below will run @ DDR333.
