it just says "thank you for voting." and to be sure to watch the results show.

and you only have two hours to vote total for your time zone, and i usually got tired of it after 20 mins. it was pretty much punch in the number, hear to see if it went through, hit flash, hit redial. repeat endlessly.

Now that Stevens is out of the way and not taking up votes anymore maybe the show will get back on it's feet. How did he possibly get so many votes anyway? Did these people even watch the show and listen to him "sing"?

Because he has millions of teen girls that like him, that vote multiple times for him. Why they like that little pink nerd, I don't know.

The solution is a simple one... Vote for the person that you DON'T think should continue.

Yep, that's what we thought of too. Except when you get down to maybe 2.
Another idea I had was to let the judges count for 50% of the votes. Maybe get about 10 judges.

And explain to me why anyone should get to vote more than once?

I always wondered if Anandtech is truly powerful enough to keep one of it's own in an American Idol competition even if they sucked. Imagine if someone popular here like Skoorb or RossMAN made it to the end, because 1000+ OT'ers ran their computer modems all night making calls and text messaging via scripts.

Will they give us some of the cash?

I think all ATOT'rs should get together to make Diana win! 🙂 I imagine Latoya will.
