See if you can experience a display with a bad pixel. The 27" 2560x1440 displays have pretty tiny pixels, so a bad pixel is not as noticeable/bad as it would be compared to a 30" 2560x1600 or 24" 1920x1200 or 1080p display, which all have bigger/more noticeable pixels. I'd suggest buying one Korean display at less than $300. See how you like it, what you think of the bad pixels. Then if you hate it, use it as your secondary display.

Grab one of the 27" 1440p screens and use it alongside your 24" screen currently in use. Save up those pennies and pick up a second 27" in a few months. And then a third later if you really need the space.

That's the nice thing about using multi-monitor setups: you don't have to buy them all at the same time!
