You see I have cables ready for the next two cards. I had to buy one standard power cable that splits into a 2x PCIe 8 plug.

Things to do.

1. Install 2x EVGA GTX 680 Classified's when the arrive.
2. return the sound card , as I am within my return date.
3. buy a power supply that supports 8, PCIe 8 connectors, and that supports the power needs.

Be sure to plug the molex connector into the motherboard or you may have problems with your 24pin power connector overheating.

Nice!

If you need good sound you could consider an external USB sound card- it is what my brother uses.

I replaced my 3570k with a 3930k, and my 1155 motherboard with a ASUS Rampage IV Extreme motherboard.

I also replaced my AIO water cooler with a Thermaltake CLW0217 Water 2.0 Extreme/All-In-One Liquid Cooling System.

Spec's are in my Sig, Using five 140mm Fractal Case Fan's. And a 140mm Silverstone Case fan on the side door for intake.

I have six ssd's in raid in a Thermaltake MAX-1562 5.25 HDD bay, as you can see this opened up my case.

I have to say , I am very happy with this rig!

Comments welcome!

There is just not enough room between the sockets. Even those big E-ATX mainboards for Quad-SLI will only fit 4 dual slot graphic cards but you won't be able to put your sound card in between.

Besides Quad-SLI only brings minor performance improvements if at all, compared to Tri or Dual-SLI. I would have stayed with a Dual or Tri-SLI setup with the GTX 680 or two GTX 690 or two or three Titans...although that's overkill as well ;-)

Yep, Agree. GO Tri
