Here's my second DDR2 2GB Kits roundup for this year ( the 3rd will be published in mid-July probably, including a dozen ++ memory kits ).

Asus Commando + kits from OCZ Technology, GeIL, and Mushkin on the bench! :yepp:

Micron D9GMH here, there, oh my God, they're everywhere

Originally posted by: BenchZone's 2GB DDR2 Roundup 2 ( June 2007 )In this roundup we'll be taking a look at some nice high end products from OCZ Technology & Mushkin, and a 'special' kit from GeIL.
We'll also explain why & who needs such high performance ( better say frequency ) kits, and which application is better in showing up the differences between them.

Don't skip the testing methodology page no matter what, there's some crucial information regarding the usage & the benefits of these kits and will keep you from buying a kit and then find that you cannot take advantage of it.

Originally posted by: BenchZone's 2GB DDR2 Roundup 2 ( June 2007 )If you're a enthusiast or a overclocker looking for a good memory kit nowadays, good kits with Micron D9GMH and Micron D9GKX are your best choices, good thing these chips are everywhere! :)
Pricing can't be as low as the kits with other chips ( like Elpida, ProMOS ) but they're still in a 'reachable' level.
We've located the OCZ Reaper HPC 9200 for 219$ ( 203 euro's in Europe ) and the Mushkin XP2-8000 for 319$ ( 368 euro's in Europe ).

I have to admit that OCZ's pricing on the Reapers rock!

Closing this roundup I'd like to repeat those words "Both the Mushkin & the OCZ kit did great, and there's not much separating them"...but the price.
That's why none of the kits receive a Editor's choice award, or a Performance award.

We have to award OCZ's Reaper HPC PC2-9200 with the Performance/Value award though, one of the cheapest and guaranteed D9GMH kits out there, and backed up by OCZ's great lifetime warranty :)

Sorry for the photos quality ( where's my camera Canon ?!!! )

I feel bad for splitting the roundups, but some memory kits are still in the way to our HQ so we had to do that.
We'll pay you back with a massive roundup in mid-July hopefully ;)
