3rd Party Websites: Downloading FIRMWARE

So I bought an OEM BD (Blu Ray) Drive from Newegg, only to find that a) I'm the only one recently to not get a original package CD (took a chance and lost; OEM guarantees nothing but the drive) b) the Retail is now only $10 more and out of stock.

So what I didn't get by not having the CD is the Cyber DVD and BD player software along with the FIRMWARE updater program.

Searching for the latest FIRMWARE on LG's site turns up zero, zilch, nada but it appears that I need it to cure a lot of my current ailments.

So is there a trustworthy site to get the latest FIRMWARE?

The Blu Ray player is the LG Black 6X Blu-ray DVD-ROM 16X DVD-ROM 40X CD-ROM SATA Internal Combo LG Blu-ray/HD DVD-ROM & 16X DVD±R DVD Burner Model GGC-H20LK - OEM

Bios updates very from one board to another. A new piece of hardware like the BD player is not going to come with a bios update since all motherboards are different. Besides the Bios has nothing to do with the drive playing BD disks. GO to LG;s site and download the drivers, if there are any and your done. You'll have to go out and buy software that will play the movies. OEM's generally don't come with a free copy of that software anyway.

Damn, you're right. I meant to say FIRMWARE instead of BIOS.
