3rd party Radeon 7500 question

Went to buy a DVI-out card, and came out with a Forsa Radeon 7500 DDR with DVI and analog and TV-out card for $150 CAD. Their ATI-made acrds were sold out.

The Samsung RAM on my card says K4S641632F-TC60. From the Samsung site, this is 60ns, 166MHz SDRAM.

Not only is it slow, it's not even DDR.

It says DDR right on the box.

Am I right to take it back, or am I missing something?

Forsa makes both a SDR and a DDR Radeon 7500, probably just a packaging mistake, the vendor should have no problem switching for the proper board.

What it actually says is: "64MB DDR Memory Configuration"

They said they will take it back for store credit.

Thanks for the insight.

I would imagine that you aren't the only one that got a SDR 7500 in a DDR 7500 box, nice catch.
