3rd motherboard, usb/ps2 stoped working AGAIN

I finally put together another system (a very cheap one I put together as a spare) and am having an issue with it and can't figure out what the problem is.

I cant seem to get any of the inputs working. I've tried connected multiple keyboards and mices, through BOTH USB and PS/2, but nothing is responding (no lights lighting etc). I've had the same problem with all 3 motherboards. The USB's work fine, but after a few reboots they just STOP working. I've swapped the board 2 times, and this is my third one, and it happened again.
I left it running all night, got home and messed with it a bit. After a few reboots, the USB AND PS2 stopped working, so now I have no mouse and keyboard inputs.

they were working fine, and I installed windows no problem. I left the whole system running a bit to ensure it is all good. The mouse/keyboard work fine, something happened to the inputs on the motherboard.

I have no idea what to do now. I had this problem before, and it was very similar and I ended up getting the motherboard replaced, but now it happened again, and I don't think it can possibly be another faulty MOBO.

Here's the config/parts I have:

motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16813135068

cpu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...E16819116063&Tpk=e2200

memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820227139

gfx card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814127295

Any ideas are appreciated!

your links aren't working, but it does seem unlikely that you keep getting bad boards, so either you have a short somewhere or one of your usb/ps2 devices is causing problems. Do you have any other usb peripherals (printer/scanner/drives...) or a hub? What happens when you try to boot now, does it just lock saying no keyboard found, does it get to a windows screen, or does it not boot at all?

I have a Cooler Master 631 case here that seems to have some sort of issue that I'll have to figure out. I'm not sure whether it's the switches or something else. But all I had connected to it from the case were the switches and LEDs. The mobo pan is clear, so I can't see a shorting problem. IAC, the new components work fine in the 690 I have here, so it's gotta be something with the 631.

jkresh - I've tried other random input devices, and nothing will come on now. At the time of the issues, I only had a mouse and keyboard plugged in. I haven't even tried plugging in other types of devices yet, since it hasn't been on long enough. Also, it seems like the issue happens only on a reboot.

Right now the computer works fine and everything boots up, but I just can't do anything, because it doesnt light up the mouse nor keyboard.

When using PS/2 for both mouse and kbd, turn off Legacy USB support in the BIOS, when using USB kbd/mse, turn on Legacy USB support in the BIOS. Perhaps a BIOS update is in order.

keep in mind that there is no way normal usb devices can kill 3 motherboards...

sorry i don't have an answer to your problem.
