I was planning on buying an Intel i7 3770 CPU. I have an Asus P8H61Pro MOBO. I just noticed that on asus web page it says that the mobo supports 2nd gen intel cpus (LGA1155 socket), although my current (i3 2120) and 3770 are both for the 1155 socket.
Should I buy a newer mobo for 3770? I don't want to spend the money if I don't have to, of course.
