3M Precise Mousing Surface - mouse pad

anyone tried this mouse pad? how does it compare to say the func pad?

also, does anyone know where I can buy mouse cord clips like the one func provides for their mouse for other mouse pads?

I love the 3M Precise mouse pads. They work great for optical and mechanial/ball mice. They do get dirty pretty easy though, so be careful about that, and don't expect more than a year out of it, the little pyramid bumps wear down over time. They're expensive, but worth every penny if you have a desk surface that doesn't work well with your mouse.

I was planning to get one too but didnt bcos of reports of them wearing out mad early.

Another thumbs up from me. The surface is great and they grip the table really well too so don't slide about when things get a bit hectic. If I had one complaint it would be that they could be a bit bigger.

they were the first gaming pads. but they got left behind long ago as far as i can tell

the pads wear out AND the mice feet wear out fast . . from my experiance . . I also do use Mouse Slicks (or teflon tape) now since my original mouse feet are completey shot . . but then again, the mouse is 4-5+ yrs old. I have yet to find a long lasting, low wear pad, but I haven't tried looking/researching mouse pads for years.

I liked them back in the rolling ball mouse days, but they didn't last that well, mine would stretch and get wavey.

Right now I am using a promo pad from DiskDoctor MD, some early version of the CD cleaning thing. Its a very thin sheet of plastic with a smooth kind of parchment feel to the surface.
