Right now I have an LG shine with a 4GB Micro SD card + 256mb onboard memory. I want to rip Movies to 3gp format to watch on the phone. Does anyone have any good recommendations for software video converters for 3GP video format?
If anyone's curious about file size, I made a 96000bps 176 x 144 16:9 anamorphic copy of SemiPro on DVD - the entire movie was 108mb when finished, and looked decent. To make an excellent quality movie from a 2 hour feature film using 3GP's maximum quality parameters, filesize ends up being about 280-300mb.
I have bluetooth, USB cable, and data transmission on the phone. Currently I'm using WinAVI ipod/psp/3gp video converter, but when i try to crop the sides of the video frames realtime, it doesn't seem to work in the outputted file - it just keeps the original aspect ratio. This is the main reason I'm looking to get some different software. Any recommendations?
Thank you.
