I just set up my new rig last night and so far I have all the bios settings to 'auto'. I havent played with the voltages etc yet, and the 2.26b does 17x160=2720 right into windows @1.5v no problem. Tried fsb =166 but I got some voice message from the bios which I couldnt understand. Yes this mobo actually talks to you. Now I'm ready for some real o/cing, Id really like to see how far this baby can go.

What are the bios settings for the ram, cpu, memory and g/x card to try. These can all be adjusted directly in the bios.

Should I burn in the ram/cpu etc?

Thanks

Here's my hardware
mobo - asus p4b533V
cpu - 2.26B
ram- 512mb Corsair 3200
cooler swiftech mcx4000+delta fan
gainward ti4600
case - cm210 blue

PS Anyone with a p4b533V and doin 3Ghz+ wanna tell us your bios settings pls?

Does this mean you managed to sort out your problem with just the stand-by light coming on and the board not "powering-up"?

Sharpio - yes thankyou, it was an old metal mobo standoff from the previous th7iiR (which is bigger) that was shorting out the p4b533V. When I took apart the mobo and removed all unecessary standoffs - hooray - it posted for the first time!!!

Tryin for 3Ghz now. Is there a hacked bios for this mobo?

what are the best settings to go for?
