3GB Or 4GB RAM??

Hi
I want to buy a new laptop which I will mainly use for programming(.net,java,oracle etc),surfing,watching movies etc.I m confused between two lenovo models one has
3GB DDR3 RAM and other has 4GB DDR3 RAM with windows 7 home premium 64 bits OS. which one should I buy??..is 3gb ram is enough for my programming needs??

What is the price difference between the two models? What are the other specs? If the price isn't that much higher, go with the 4gb model.

Yea need full specs. All being equal go 4gig.

other specs are almost same (core i5-460m,500G)only diff in graphics
one with 512 Mb and other is 1gb.price diff is around Rs.4000

What video card?

I take a better video card and upgrade the ram later myself vs a lowwer end video card and 4 gig now.

Post the specs or link to them.

Usually, not always, the higher the graphics memory the better the card in mobile video cards. i.e. like 64bit vs 128bit memory.
That would be way more important then system memory to me.

Unless its a hugh price differance go with the 4gig model. Chances are the 3gig has the 310 video and the 4gig has the 320 video card.

So not only do you get more memory but a better video card.

4gb - it also has more video memory.....it would be nice to know the price difference between the two...
