3g laptop needed

hi users.. i m from india and a new member in this forum... i want to purchas a laptop with following specs..
1.i3 prccy
2.15.6' scrn
3.3gb or 4gb ddr3
4.320 hdd
5.no discrete gfx... intel onboard gfx is enough for me
6. but most importantly i need a inbuilt hsdpa(3g) modem...

plz suggest me and put the link also... thnk u...

You don't necessarily need 3G built into the laptop.

Agree that built-in 3G is not necessary. I prefer the connection card, express or USB. The operative question is - what provider will you use? Assume that in India it would be GSM based, but it's good to be sure.

thnx for ur reply.. actualy there r gr8 improvements if u hav inbuilt wwan cards... it has better reception and signal strngth than any tetherd phn or usb stick....

btw i found my choice... dell studio 15 lapys give inbuilt sim slot... but i hav to buy and install the card .. the card is of ericsson's wwan card.... cost 7500 inr...

if u hav a lapy with sil slot u should try it too... the spd differnc is astonishing..

a usb stick at 100% signal gives 2 mbps but at the same time that wwan card gives 7 mbps constant...

I find a cardbus or express card better than a USB stick - and WWAN has a few security problems. But, do what works best in your area.

ok reviving this thread .. after searching more in the segment i want to buy i found another laptop : lenovo ideapad z560.. now anybdy has any comments and issues with this series?? i m new to lenovo... so need all of ur inputs..

The Z560 is certainly worth a look - especially in India. Here is who you could be dealing with. The review is favorable. "Enhanced Wi-Fi" would fit your need.

I have had a Lenovo T60 for almost 3 years. Love it! Will probably replace it with a Lenovo W510 this year.

thnk u for ur reply.... may i no is there any warranty hitch about lenovo??? h.p in my city has very bad service centre... lenovo is ok in after sales service na??
