3G 15 gig Ipod?

Aren't I supposed to get an ipod remote and an dock? Worthupgrading from firmware 2.1 to 2.2?

the original yes, it was taken off the market for a while i think it had a short return just before the 4G came out and i don't think that one came with the dock and remote. could be completely wrong though

I know the 15gb doesn't come with the remote for sure but i'm not sure about the dock. I was going to buy an Ipod at frys and the guy told me the 15gb doesn't come with anything you have to get accessories seperatly. So I changed my mind about getting an ipod

yes the ORIGINAL version which is the version i own comes with a dock and remote. when it was RERELEASED that propably changed.

yea i guess so

So how do you differenitate between old and new? And are tehre any other changes?
Also is it worth upgrading from firmware 2.1 to 2.2?
