3DS XL volume switch failed.

Damn - I haven't really used it *that* much.
Well, I'll just see what it'll take to have Nintendo fix it.

Yikes, $125 to fix a busted volume switch?! Don't bother. Might as well go out and buy a brand new 2DS.

Looks like the volume switch is separate from the motherboard and attached via ribbon cable. Should be an easy DIY job if you can find a replacement part. That's my point - a brand new XL is $170... it's damn near the price of a new device!
