I just got 3dsmax6 and I was wondering if anyone here could point me to some really good basic tutorial sites.
Im just looking for imaging, not really animation.

I know how to search google but I find that if I ask here, I usually get better links than I can find.

Thanks

The included tutorials are pretty good, have you gone through them yet?

They are on CD3 and aren't installed by default. They should keep you busy for some time:)

go to 3dbuzz.com
register
download 3dsmax vtm's

best way to start learning any graphics program is from the vtm's made by buzz and co, that is if they have vtm's on that program

I didnt buy the program from a store. I downloaded the prog from download.com and then found a crack for it. So there are'nt any tutorials with it. I figure I'll see if I can actually learn how to use it before I pay like 3k for it. lol

Might not want to admit pirating a program like that on this bulletin board (i.e. edit your post)... Anyway, Alias has a free version of Maya that has most features that a beginner could want (or you could pirate the full thing, just don't tell us and it will be... uh... ok ;)).

Edit: Here is Maya Personal Learning Edition. :)

Download.com, huh?

Not only do we have a software pirate in our midst, but he is a bad one too. Of course, I'm sure everyone already knew that... lol :)
