3dMarks05 score with 7800gtx card

my system scored 8012 on the 3dmarks05 benchmark. is that good for the system that i have.

4000+
2gb memory
bfg 7800gtxoc

Yes, and Futuremark has an ORB on their site that allows you to compare your score with others.

i ran the test twice. the first time i ran it froze. the second time i ran it during the end of the test i get like 1-2 fps. Is this normal for this type of graphics card?

When I say it freezes, I mean the screen just goes blank and everything else is still functioning.

on the last two test it is normal for the slow frame rates. BTW with my 7800gt i got 8394, it was OC to 520 core and 1.22 mem.

The later tests are purely CPU tests. That is why the frame rates are so low.

Precisely. If you bought 3dmark (or *acquired the pro version...) then you can tell it not to run those tests. The CPU tests are run without using your graphics card... so 1-2 fps is expected.

I got 9324 on 3dmark05 on my 7800GTX but I had 521core and 1414mem. The last two tests are cpu tests so expect frames to be around 2-6 depending on your processor speed.
