Is this during the install or while you are trying to run it? It works on the DirectX 9b sets I have.

I got the same thing; apparently the old (unpatched) version is still available for download all over the place, for who-knows-what-reason. Patch it or download a patched version (I had to after deleting the old one out of disgust).

3dmark01 also gives is a bettter generalized benchmark for system performance not just the video card like with 03.

It's not good but its not to bad to give a general idea if things are running right.

also 3dmark01 allows you to turn off the 1,000 other tests that don't factor into your score, if you don't want to run them :roll:

3DMark03 allows you to do the same but you need the Pro version to do it.
