Big Deal....The new 8.1 test won't even affect the score. That's BS if you ask me. When 3Dm2k1 came out the only card that could do the nature test was the GF3, and it got a boost in points for being able to do it. Now, they add an Dx8.1 test, which a has no effect on the score??? What's the point in adding the test then......makes no sense.....

I agree 100%, IMO it's just a dumb ass benchmark for dumb ass mugs who want to part with some $$$ for something they can't even play!

Uhmm you can download it for free, it looks good, and it is a good test of stability. And it is a way of comparing systems, not very accurate but nevertheless it is a way of doing it.

for those of ya out there that dissed 3dmark sure it IS a synthetic bench and all but is nevertheless present in almos ALL video card reviews and shootouts so its good to know where ya standing... i wouldnt pay for it no way but its nice to have to see the impact of new drivers etc...
