3DMark2001 Score

I just downloaded 3DMark001 and benckmarked my system. Here are my system specs:

AMD K7 XP 1.9 GHZ PR Rating(1.6 GHZ Clock speed) 266 MHZ Front-side Bus Speed
256 MB 266 MHZ DDR RAM
nForce Motherboard
Integrated Geforce2 Graphics with 32 MB Video Ram

The setting I chose were 1024X768 resolution, 32 bit color, No FSAA, DirextX TC.

I scored 1726.

How much could I raise this score with an additional 256 MB of RAM and an ATI Radeon 8500 LE 128 MB Video Card?

Substantially....

I get 9600 with radeon le at stock speed!!! I know I have a p4 1.6@2.66 and 512mb ram running at 333mhz ddr but I noticed at a certain point in my climb that it did not effect the score as much....I think from about 2.133ghz with 266mhz ddr to end it only increased 1100-1300...It eventually stops scaling with the cpu...

The gpu fan and lack of ramsinks will limit you to pretty much stock speed...My apollo devil monster 2 with 249.5/249.5 at stock....The real boost comes from raising the memory speed more then anything but I think the ns rating of the ram is worse then retail version and the lack of hs's makes them vulnerable to ocing....

I think I have a little in the card to crack 10000 though....

Even with a GF2MX, you should still score higher than that.

RadeonLE will boost your score to 8000 or so.

play with it and you might hit me
11822 with a p4 2.26@2.63ghz (533Mhz BUS version) 512Mb DDR PC2700 RAm and Gf4 To4600 @ 310/720

I don't think he asked for our scores.

People are just anxious to brag aren't they?
