I have a upgraded Dell XPS-R450 -- 1Ghz/100FSB, 256mb PC100 memory, nVidia Ref drivers 12.41 and a GeForce2 Pro.

My first score was 2966. Is this good?

Your middle of the road.. Rather than wait for a reply here you might want to check out madonion.com and see what similar systems to your are scoring.

I have seen scores of close to 6000 on top of the line gf3 systems. My machine won't complete 3dmark, cause my vid card sucks.

Yeah, I just did. When comparing to same processor and video card, I'm like 6 pages from the top in the list. Not bad considering that this is a 3 year old Dell upgraded to 1Ghz with a 100FSB and NO over clocking whatsoever, eh?
