3dmark2001 nature test performance drop

I am running my system with a radeon 9700 pro. I have recently upgraded from a 2.4b oced 3.1 to a 2.6c oced 3.4 . I used to be having at least 100fps in the nature test and now i am having around 70. What seems to be the problem. So far i have tried using old drivers, running the test at default speed and disabling HT. None worked. What can be the problem I am having?
 
Did you format your system when you upgraded?

If so it should be faster ...

from what i remember a 2.6c is 512k and 800FSB am i right? and a

2.4b is 512k and 533FSB ?

Either way its a big step up and you should see your system being faster not slower

Try all that normal stuff like update your videocard drivers and make sure AA and AF arnt turned on with latest ATI drivers.
