3DMark06 SLI Scaling...

I ran 3DMark06 on my new rig last night, though its still just sitting on my work bench out of its case.

I was a little concerned by the 3DMark06 score i got. It seems that I'm barely getting higher score with 2 cards. Is this normal or is there something I should look further into? 3DMark03 gets a better score with SLI enabled...

3DMark06 Score:
Single: 12460
SLI: 13600

3DMark03 Score:
Single: ~42000
SLI: ~60000

It's just a benchmark, and '06 is quite different in terms of performance testing than '03. I'd be worried if I were you, if I had played my games at higher settings and didn't get better performance. Then again, you're SLIing mid-range cards which is usually only as effective as a single top of the range card.

mmm, looks about right for the SLI score. The single score looks a bit high. When I played around with SLI on two 320MB 8800GTS, my single score was around 9000 and double was around 12000 (slower CPU than yours).
