Thought my board died tonight. Eventually got it back up and running and chew* inspired me to do a 3DMark06 run on the stock cooler. Here it is:

As you can see this is on the stock AMD cooler only.

And here is my 3DMark06 result

Interesting. My newly-built rig with a Q9550 @ 3.5Ghz, and CF HD6870s in an X48 mobo, scores only 19898 in 3dMark06.

SM2.0: 7228
SM3.0: 10470
CPU: 5070

So OP, is that CF 5850s in your rig, or just one card? And why aren't I getting twice your SM2/3 scores with two cards. Crossfire is enabled, according to CCC. Using 10.10e hotfix on Win7 64-bit.

It's done on one card :) no CF, my first PCIE slot is burnt out anyways

Nice score - 1 or 2 cards?

my high for Quadcore was 22591 with 4gb ram and 3x 4850

changing just to a 1090T clocked 300mhz faster i scored 24255

Once again, just one card. I just got a 24K result by speeding up the processor a bit under lower temps

I only see one card in the picture ;)
