Ok, So I got my system up and running, and its running like a dream...(Thanks to advice from many of you).

The first night I got it up, I patched it and did all of the necessary things to make it ... well, run. On this night I ran 3Dmark05 and hit 10380...I was pleased to see thats about average with my system:

A8N32 Mobo
2 7800 GT's in SLI
3800 Dual core Proc
Maxtor 100gig HD
2 gigs of Corsair ram
XP system pack 2 (Whatever its called -.-)

Well, after playing HL2 At 120 FPS...but still getting some random hiccups...I decided to d/l the AMD hotfix for dual cores (I have not yet d/ld the windows ones). HL2 now runs perfectly, at an avg of 130 FPS.

However, my 3Dmark went down about 1000 points...what in the world happened. I'm not seeing any loss in games...but thats not surprising... If anyone knows what I did, please tell me so I can fix it :p.

Thanks
~Blue

Perhaps you activated AA and AF on the NVIDIA display panel when you were playing HL2 and forgot to turn it off when you ran 3Dmark05 the second time?

Sorry for my ignorance ... but what are the AMD and Windows hotfixes for dual cores??

Is there something I need to download for my X2 4400?
