3Dmark03 scores low w/ 9800 pro - o/c 2500+

i just started running 3dmark03 for the first time today, and i found my score to be considerably low. 3050. i noticed that people with the same build as my comp have scores atleast in the 5000's or high 4000's. i closed down everything running in the task bar etc. could anyone give me any tips as to why my score is so damn low? thanks for the suggestions.
 
Either you turned on AA/AF (I did that the first time by mistake and flipped out when I scored LOWER than on my 4600), or you need to reinstall (in order) your chipset drivers, DirectX, and your video card drivers to get AGP acceleration working properly.
 
haha yeah oops, i had aa/af on... my score jumped up to 5834. i just totally forgot.. maybe i should think harder before i post...😱
 
Agree with previous tips. Also, make sure to unload/stop all services you don't need before running the test (see System tray and Task Manaer if you're running Windows). Also, check you PSU (maybe a little undersized for a 9800Pro)
 
Ya I did the same dumb thing by having AA and AF forced in the control panel and was only getting like 3,800 marks. I cant wait to see what I get with my 5950 Ultra.
