Have you gone to www.hardocp.com yet?

I'm running a 9800(non-pro), athlon xp mobile 2500+, 512mb of mushkin pc3500 ram, abit nf7-s a.k.a. an7 mobo, 120 gig seagate harddrive 8mb cache, anything else I need to mention? I have a 21" Sony Trinitron monitor.

It will play. That vid card may hold you back a little bit. But if you are content w/ medium settings then it will be fine.

I have the CPU overclocked to 2.03 ghz. I know that's not near the potential of that processor, but I'm useing an Aquarius II water-cooling system, which isn't all that great. I'm aleady at 55 degreess celcius under load. I'm afraid to go any higher. Also I don't know about overclocking my video card because it doesn't have "auto turn off" if it over heats like my cpu does.

Depends on your definition of nicely. I had a 9800 pro, sold it and have a BFG 6800 GT now so I can play D3 to my definition of "nicely." I suggest others do the same;IMHO.

Agree with Mik3y, 4915 score would go with medium settings at 1024. Those folks pulling 10,000+ score will do very well with D3.

I agree with Mik3y as well. Even though 3dmark isn't a game and isn't accurate to what you may experience, however I can tell by that score given you are running a main stream video card. And based on the hardocp's article, http://www2.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NjQ0, you'll be running around 1024x768 with medium quality. And they will explain that the game looks and plays beautifully at those settings.
