3DMark03/05 and XP SP2

Ever since I installed XP SP2 on my home computer, I have been unable to run 3DMark03. It runs the first and sometimes the second game test, then when the next test tries to load, it crashes. I installed 3DMark05 yesterday, and I have the same problem. It runs the first and sometimes the second test, then...nothing. I cleaned out my driver files using Driver Cleaner and reinstalled the Catalyst 4.9 drivers, but that didn't help.

I'm running an A64 3200+ with 1GB OCZ PC3500 RAM, an MSI Neo Platinum mobo, and a 9800 Pro.

I'm on the verge of uninstalling SP2 to see if the benchmarks will run again. Am I the only one having this problem? I even defragged my HDs to make sure it wasn't a disc problem. Still no joy on either of the benches.

Anyone have any ideas?
