my ati 9700 pro occasionally freezes up on the last 3dmark01 test- point sprites. Runs the rest of the tests fine but not that one for some reason...is there something i can set that might fix this, and what could this be indicative of?
I'm aware of the compatibility problems between my p4g8x-d and my 9700 pro...that might since i reinstalled and turned fast writes off, disabled write combining it runs my games fine...occasionally freezes on point sprites still though.
