3dmark, win2k and athlon... doesn't run?

Well I just recently upgraded my motherboard and cpu. I got an athlon 1.33ghz asus a7v133 mb. Those were the only things i've changed in my system.
Well reformatted and install win2k, via drivers 4.29 from via's website, install sp1, install all my drivers.

Well 3dmark refuses to run. It'll freeze up around the 3 test. Anyone having similar problems? I'm sure it's not a heat issue as my machine is stable, 3dmark doesn't even run at default speed. Any ideas?
