Actually 3Dmark2000 is a wonderful benchmark. It gives out very detailed information on how well various subsystems of your video card (such as polygon througput rate, AGP texturing performance) work. However, as the number one video card guru of these boards, BenSkywalker has repeatedly said, people should stop focusing on
3Dmarks as a performance indicator. It's a misleading number, some sort of strange weighted average out of the individual results. It really only encourages 3Dmark2K's abuse (people cheating to get a higher score).

wolf550e: Your score seems about right. 3Dmarks depend solely on video card on any modern system. Not that there's any reason to upgrade from a GeForce-class accelerator, at least in my opinion
