3dmark score went DOWN with new cat3.4!

okay whilst i havent tested it with games yet my 3dmark2001se went down from 12700 to 12560 went going from cat 3.1 to 3.4!
i have to also say that subjectively the image quality is not as crisp [the ati symbol in the tasbar a case in point!]

i do those getting apparantly ridiculously high gains!
i would have settled with no change...🙁

then reinstall the 3.1's or try the 3.2's. Besides, you don't play 3dmark.

Dont worry about it,
I noticed that from cat2.4 to 3.1 my 2k1 score went down, but 2k3 went up, same with 3.1-3.2 and 3.2-3.4

here my experiance with 3dmark: off i clean reformat, i get my highest scores, BUT i can run it again 30 seconds later with no change in hardware or software and my score will be lower each successive time. i'm gonna do some tweaks and what not, hit 15000 on 3dmark2001. post the score, and not use it again for a long time

It was said in the release notes that your 3dmark2001 scores would suffer. Your 3dmark2003 socres will improve.

stop whining, 3dmark is just for bragging. Go play unreal 2 at 1600x1200 if you want to see something cool.
